Build a Fire Safety Culture in your Premises with
Fire Warden / Marshal Training.

This comprehensive classroom-based training by Dragon Fire Safety covers the role of the designated fire warden.

You will learn what fire is, how it develops and how to prevent it, the purpose of fire safety equipment, human behaviour when the alarm sounds,  about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly. It is a small price to pay per delegate to ensure that everyone on your premises will know what to do in an emergency.
Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) Lecture Competition Winner 2014

The Course

The course equips your staff with all they need to know about their role as a Fire Warden or Fire Marshal. It covers Fire Safety Legislation, the chemistry of fire, causes and behaviour of fire, understanding active and passive fire protection, and how to safely evacuate a building in the event of a fire. It also covers selecting and using an extinguisher (theory only - no practical session).

Who Should Attend

The course is for all staff who have been identified, or volunteered, to take a lead on implementing or assisting with fire safety procedures on a day to day basis including assisting in an evacuation of a building.

If you have an office in a multi-occupied building, why not get together with the other occupiers and book a single course and share the costs?

Aims

The course will meet your company responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to ensure that there are sufficient numbers of trained staff on you premises to assist in an emergency evacuation situation. It will create a "Fire Safety Culture" on your premises to reduce the fire hazards and identify any issues immediately.

Location & Cost

Training is held conveniently in the comfort of your own premises in a meeting room or training room.

Duration  4 Hours

Cost: From just £35 per delegate.
